Our story and team
Celeste Radanovich along with Marna Taylor became passionate about helping students through volunteering and Co-Chairing Leigh High School’s College & Career Center for a span of over 7 years. They recognized that students and families needed more information and guidance, and their main goal was aimed at offering affordable college counseling services. Towards that end, got college? was founded, and the Comprehensive (Classroom) Course was piloted with 8 students in Celeste's dining room in 2008. Their successful college planning services have grown to include consultations, Individual Packages, and Essay Workshops, to date having helped 720+ students plan for and apply to college. Their unique perspective and practical approach is appreciated by students, families, school guidance counselors, and school administrators. Celeste and Marna each earned a Certificate in College Counseling, with distinction, through UCLA Online. Marna retired in December of 2017.
In early 2015, got college? welcomed Lynn Rice to the team. Lynn chaired the Leigh High School College and Career Center for 3 years. She has a shared passion and approach in helping students within the college admissions process and has also earned a Certificate in College Counseling, with distinction, through UCLA Online.
All got college? team members keep abreast of the ever-changing college admissions environment and process, are members of both the National and Western Associations of College Admissions Counseling (NACAC and WACAC), and practice under the NACAC Statement of Principals of Good Practice.
